Dapple Restoration

This rocking horse is approximately 100 years old.

When it was brought to me for restoration, it was missing 1/2 a hoof, 1 ear, 1 eye and it's neck needed major repair as the head had been broken off and improperly repaired.

The client wanted the horse repainted in a traditional antique dapple.

After the wood repairs were done and the horse was repainted as a dapple. I made new tack, recovered the saddle with new leather, added a new saddle blanket and new horsehair mane & tail.
